The CJ Classic preamp continues to break in and sounding better everyday. Prior to this preamp I had auditioned a Allnic L4000 preamp that Albert Porter had brought over. The Allnic was the best tubed preamp that I've ever auditioned until the CJ Classic. During the last 4 years I must have auditioned about 45 different preamps with prices from $1500.00 -$45,000.00 but none of those were able to take my system to the next level, much less transform it into a new system entirely. The Allnic L4000 slightly vailed my sound and slightly decreased the soundstage so it too was not worthy of purchase. You never know these things until you try them out, let your ears do the rest. Now that I'm finally done buying components I can focus entirely on my music library & just buy music. :)
