I love listening to music. I love spending time with my family including practicing Shotokan Karate together. I'm a certificated private pilot. I'm an amateur woodworker and craftsman. I'm starting to find my way around an ukulele.

I'm back from the CA Audio Show. Seemed like a smaller show this year, though that might not be fair. I'm usually tied to a room and this year I wasn't. So I got to see every room at the show. I think my favorite was from Audio Image. A very good sound played mostly from vinyl.

Hey evoites. I put together a little project I'm calling the Audiophile Directory Project. Please go and check it out. http://directory.audiophile.ws/.
I've been on the East Coast for the last couple of days. I got to visit with Terry Menacker at Overture in Wilmington, DE yesterday. That is a seriously nice store that stayed very busy the entire time I was there. Then I hopped in my car and headed to Washington DC. I walked around the mall for about an hour and a half before I headed back to DE. Saw the White House, the Washington Monument, the Lincoln Memorial, the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, and visited three states (PA, DE, MD). Now I'm sitting in the airport anticipating the upcoming reunion with my wife and our kids.
I feel like I'm a deadbeat dad. Being the Chief Monkey means I should be here more often. But my new job has me going in all directions. Sorry for being away so much.
Hey guys - I'm looking for one track to use in our demo. Specifically, I need something purely electronic. Deep bass. Crisp, clean highs, and nice clear mids. I heard Luke Manley using something in their demo at the NY Audio Show, and for the life of me can't remember what it was. Any suggestions?
I've bitten off more than I can chew I think. One guy running a room in Munich just isn't enough. Only today left, though. So I should stop being a crybaby. :)
I'm sitting in my office listening to some John Williams using my Da Vinci DAC, my Mac Mini music server, and some old Wilson Sophias. It's a great life. Reminder to self - you should have shipped these speakers to Mr. Muzquiz already so he can sell them.
