Sound check time
The 500-year old Spasimo complex definitely looks old, but the rough-hewn walls don't look that way because of age (not for the most part, at least). It's because the walls were never finished, and were left in a permanent state of deconstruction. I think it's beautiful, though!

Now we are talking. Have to say the the food takes precedence when one is in Italy. Indeed, I may be stupid but I haven't been anywhere else where the food surpasses any other sensory experience!.
